Frequently Asked Questions about the Beverley Tractor Pull & Dirt Drags
Q/ Where is the Racecourse? A/ Hamersley Rd in Beverley
Q/ Where is Beverley? A/ Beverley is a small country town located a bit over an hours drive east from Perth. From South of the river head out the Brookton Hwy and following the signs to Beverley. From North of the river head out the Great Eastern Hwy follow the signs via York. Q/ How much does it cost? A/ Gate entry is, Adults $15, Kids $5, Family $30
Q/ What facilities are at the venue? A/ There is a large undercover grandstand that seats a couple of hundred and plenty of standing room along the track so you may bring your deck chairs too. Some shaded car parking area and Ladies / Gents public toilets.
Q/ Food & Drink? A/ Hot food & cool drinks are available onsite catered by the local lions club along with a separate licensed bar area run by the local Freemason Hotel.
Q/ BYO what is allowed & whats not? A/ Because this is a licensed venue no BYO Alcohol is permitted to be brought in, however you may bring any other food and beverages, we would prefer no glass at this venue. Any alcohol brought to the venue will be confiscated at the gate and will be returned when you leave. Q/ Are Dogs allowed at the venue. A/ No dogs are allowed. (except for guide dogs) Q/ What age kids can race in the dirt drags? A/ The Peewee class in dirt drag is from 4 yr s to 11yrs and open to bikes, quads, carts and buggies. (check the dirt drag menu for more details)
Q/ What time does it start & finish? A/ Competition starts at 12 noon with the Dirt drags and the Tractors start at 1:00 pm. Gates open at 10am and the track is closed at 6pm.
Q/ What if it is raining? A/ Unless it’s a flood we usually run rain, hail or shine. (check the website for cancellations or phone 0409 900813)
Q/ Where can we stay? A/ There is 2 Hotels in town that offer cheap rooms and good meals also there is a small caravan park in town or you could put down a swag at the venue and help us clean up the next day. The venue is patrolled by security and also has a First Aid post for the duration of the event.
