Beverley Tractor Pull Track.

July 2010

The club had its AGM and presentation night last month with a record attendance, this season is shaping up to be bigger and better than the previous one. looks like we will see the return of the trucks to the track and a couple of new mini tractors may hit the dirt as well.

The season will consist of 5 points score events at Beverley in conjunction with the Dirt Drags and the Northampton Dirt Drags have also been confirmed for Saturday 6th November at Bowes River.

This season in the Beverley Dirt Drags we are going to trial a knock out system for the final round at each event.

The Beverley event dates will be confirmed in the next few weeks.

May 2010 Finals

Saturday 1st May 2010 our final event for the season and it was certainly one to remember as there was standing room only, the grandstand was packed by noon, and we were parking cars in the overflow area of the trailer park all afternoon.

In the tractor line up we had them all out to strut there stuff and hope to take out prize for the season points score, 14 Mini Tractors along with Blitza & Deevee8 in the Limited Modified tractors kept the crowd entertained all day.

Our Dirt Drag competitors were also packing the pit area and put on some top class action in the junior’s right through to the adult competitors we were also shown some awesome runs from V8 dirt bike.

It was good to see Cameron, Steve and the Ray Family made it back in time from the Australian Championships still able to compete at this event, Cameron did WA proud with AWESOME taking out 2nd place in the 860kg Open Mini and 4th place in 950kg, Rockabilly managed to get 8th & 12th out of 15 in the Ltd Mini’s and DOWNUNDER set a new speed record on the Quamby track, so overall WA was very well presented and left a good impression at that event.

The final show down at Beverley in the Limited Mini Tractors there seemed to be 3 consistent top competitors all season being Chickpower, Unbelievable & Rockabilly but the rest of the field are not far behind with only a few inches between pulls on several occasions.

The track on the day was heavy and all the tractors were struggling to get beyond the 80 mtr mark, even with less weight in the sled it was hard work on these machines all day.

Overall the day ran very smoothly and was a great event to finish off the season, we would like to thank everyone that has helped out during the season and look forward to seeing you again in October.
